Type 721A
IEC60711 artificial ear
Introduction
The IEC 60711 Ear Simulator Type 721A is used for measurements on supra-aural and supra- concha earphones, both sealed and unsealed, intended for wideband telephony application (100Hz to 8kHz).
A complete test jig for acoustical measurements on earphones coupled to the ear by inserts such as tubes and ear moulds.
This design complies with the following IEC 60711Ed.1.OB Occluded-ear simulator for the measurement of earphones coupled to the ear by ear inserts.
Artificial Ears Type 721A consist of an acoustic coupler, acoustic condenser microphone and a base plate, which all parts are made of stainless steel and no any magnetic material.
